Calm, oasis, classy, peaceful, boutique haven in perfect location oppositive the cathedral. Healthy breakfast on beautiful shady verandah overlooking the verdant gardens. A treasure.

Mosquitoes, but these are a fact of life in the tropics.

The hotel is very nice: simple but very nice good size rooms, amazing garden, very good and healthy breakfast, small but clean pool, helping staff, secure parking. The hotel is in a quiet section of Valladolid, a nice city to visit, close to Chitchen Itza and many cenotes.

A bit fare from restaurants (about 10-15 minutes walk)

    Very good

Close to everything interesting to do: Chichen Itzà, Cenotes (even one in the village itself, San Bernardino de Sienna, Ek Balam, etc... The beauty on the haciendas. The beautiful sight right outside our window on the inner courtyard. Original choice of breakfast.

Pool did not seem clean. Small bed (double and I'm 6'4"). Trickling of the water in the bathroom (had to ask for a basin to be able to wash my hair) and toilet hard to flush consequently. Rooster at 3:00am answering each other from what seems all over the village.

    Fabulous

I only stayed 1 night - I really liked the yard. If I could afford it I would come for a week or longer.

Loved the overall design and choice of Mexican crafts that decorated the hotel, as .

    Superb

When we entered the hotel it opened up into a beautiful tropical setting. Very tranquil...yes we could hear dogs, roosters and birds in the morning but did not bother us at all. Loved the rooms and cleanliness. The location was great for walking in the evening. The staff was great and it helped that I knew atleast "un poco espanol". Hope to return someday, regret we only stayed one night in Vallodolid.

After staying at many places(for less money) on our Yucatan trip we found alot of them offered the same breakfast we had (yogurt, fruit, bread) in the price of the room, one place even had a hot breakfast and the room/hotel was also very nice for less money. Our breakfast at CQ was 8or 9 US per person.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The casita was perfect and very well equipped. The owners spoke English which was a big help. Although a little hard to find it was worth it and would not hesitate to stay there again.

    Fabulous

If you arrive to Cancun in the second half of the day and next day your destination is Chitchen Itza - it is the best location to spend a night. In the city of Valladolid (40 min driving to the site). The hotel is in traditional mexican countryside style though has everything from civilization. Good breakfast and Wi Fi that actually works and you can surf ( a very rare thing in mexican small hotels).

The rooms are decorated long time ago and you can clearly see it. Old TVs, old bath design and appliances. The pool is very small, you cannot actually swim in there even it is seen differently on the pictures.

Charming hotel full of character. In fact, it does not feel like a hotel at all, but rather as a resort type place to stay, with rooms located around a patio, only without the purely touristic side-effects. Calming, relaxing environment; beautiful, rustic rooms (with very comfortable hammock!); excellent breakfast; very friendly and helpful people. Located in a less well known city, but definitely worth visiting. We stayed one night and it was our favourite 'hotel' of our Mexico trip.

    Ease of parking

Confused and inexperienced check-in and check-out procedure also being charged extra for breakfast in what I thought was a bed & breakfast

    Superb

Staff were wonderful and the rooms were amazing. Incredible value for money in my opinion.

My only slight concern was the noise of the farm animals from the neighbouring property.

    Very good

The magnificent gardens and artistic design made our stay memorable.

Noise from roosters, barking dogs and loud television from outside the hotel

Our room was 10 m from the street. Ít was to loud for a relaxed night and a good sleep. Other rooms are in the garden, perhaps they are better.

    Superb

laid back, very relaxed place, quiet interior courtyard, friendly staff

a bit removed from centro parque so required fair walk to town center or bus station (but taxi rides cheap, only 15 pesos, and easy to get)
